Well, this is a tricky question.
A mastaba is an ancient Egyptian tomb consisting of an underground burial chamber with rooms above it. The tricky thing is that it is not simple - it is quite an elaborate tomb, resembling a stepped pyramid. 
So it could be both a stepped pyramid or a simple tomb, I am not completely sure.
