Answer:

The British people saw an opportunity to trade in India. The fight between the rulers of India paved way for the Britishers to build companies like East India Company. They saw the fertile lands and the great skills that if traded would bring a lot of prosperity. Using the resources carefully they wisely invaded and colonised India.
