Multiplying Polynomials by monomials:
1. 2 (x+4) -1 =9
2. 6 (s-2) +3 (s+1) =9

1. 2(x+4) - 1 = 8
Answer: x = 1

2. 6(s - 2) + 3 (s + 1) = 9
Answer: s = 2
