v=s/t

Where v= velocity, s= distance, t= times= v*t

Using the distance formula,

s=v*30/60

s=1/2v --- (1)

s= (v-1)*36/60

s=(v-1)*3/5 --- (2)

1/2v=(v-1)*3/5

1/2v=3/5v-3/5

1/2v-3/5v=-3/5

-1/10v=-3/5

v=(-3/5)/(-1/10)

v=-30/-5v

= 6
